Terms
Last updated October 5, 2026
These terms cover your use of WisconsinBOGO ("we") at wisconsinbogo.com. By creating an account, signing a business up or signing a group up to fundraise, you agree to them.
What WisconsinBOGO is
WisconsinBOGO is a membership and marketing program. Participating businesses choose to offer members coupons. We do not sell, provide or pay for the goods and services on a coupon. Every coupon is offered and honored by the business named on it.
Who can be a member
- You must be 18 or older. You confirm this when you join.
- Your membership is for you alone. Do not share your account or let someone else redeem with it.
- A business can refuse service to anyone, for any lawful reason, including a member with a valid coupon.
Coupons and redemptions
- Each business sets its own coupons: what they give, any fine print, an end date if there is one, and how often a member can use each one (once a year, once every 30 days, once every 7 days or once a day).
- A coupon is redeemed when a staff member taps the redeem button on your phone, or, for a barcode coupon, when you bring up the barcode at the register. A redemption cannot be undone, including one made by mistake or one where the barcode was shown but not scanned.
- Businesses can change, pause or end a coupon anytime, set days when coupons do not apply, and leave the program. We do not promise that any particular business or coupon will be available.
- Coupons have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or combined with other offers unless the business says so. Tax and tip are your responsibility where they apply.
- If a coupon involves alcohol, you must be 21 or older, and the business will check ID as the law requires.
Businesses
- Listing is free. You confirm that you are allowed to act for the business you sign up.
- You agree to honor your live coupons for members in good standing, and to pause or remove a coupon in the app when you cannot.
- You are responsible for what your coupons say, for honoring them lawfully, and for any license your business needs.
- If you use the barcode option, you are responsible for the barcode you enter and for how your register treats it.
- You confirm you have the right to use the logo and photos you upload, and you allow us to show them on the site and in our marketing.
- We review businesses before listing them and can hide or remove a listing.
Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. You can delete your account yourself from the Account page, or ask us to at support@wisconsinbogo.com. We can suspend or close accounts that misuse the program, for example by redeeming for other people or giving false information.
Paid membership
Membership is one payment a year. The price is shown before you pay, and payment is handled by Stripe; we do not see or store your card number. Your membership renews each year at the regular yearly price until you cancel. A founding price, when offered, applies to the first year only. You can cancel anytime from your Account page: you keep your coupons until the end of the year you paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund part of a year. If a renewal payment fails, your coupons keep working for 14 days while you update your card. Until membership opens, signing up is free.
Fundraisers
Teams, clubs, school groups and other community groups can raise money by sharing WisconsinBOGO with the people they know. These terms apply to a group that signs up, to the person who signs it up (the organizer), and to its sellers.
- Signing up. The organizer must be 18 or older and allowed to act for the group. Signing up is free. We review each group and can decline, pause or end a fundraiser.
- Dates. The organizer chooses the first and last day. A fundraiser runs for 60 days at most. Its links and codes work only from the first day through the last day, Wisconsin time.
- What the group earns. The amount for each membership is shown on the organizer's page once the group is approved. It is earned for each new member, and again for each renewal the member chooses to give the group (see Renewals).
- Renewals. Before a member who joined through a fundraiser renews, we ask them by email whether their renewal should support the same seller or group, or a different one. A renewal counts only if the member says yes before it renews, the renewal payment goes through, and the group is still approved. A renewal counts whether or not the group is running a fundraiser at the time. If the member does not answer, the renewal does not count for any group. Renewals refunded within 30 days do not count.
- When a sale counts. A sale counts when the buyer chose the group or one of its sellers before paying, and the buyer's first payment goes through on or before the last day. A fundraiser cannot be added to a membership, or moved to a different seller, after that payment.
- Refunds. A sale that is refunded or reversed within 30 days does not count.
- Payment. We pay the group for its fundraiser once, by check or bank transfer, 30 days after the last day. We pay what the group earns from renewals once a year. We pay the group, not individual sellers. The group gives us what we need to pay it, such as its legal name, an address and any tax form the law requires.
- Sellers. The organizer adds each seller by name and gets a link and code for them. Sellers do not need an account. The organizer confirms it has permission to list each seller, and a parent or guardian's permission for anyone under 18. For children, use a first name and last initial. A seller's name is shown to people who open that seller's link.
- Selling honestly. Sellers describe the membership accurately: what it costs, that it renews each year until cancelled, and how much goes to the group. Buyers must be 18 or older. No one may buy memberships, or create accounts, only to raise a total. We can remove sales we reasonably believe were not genuine.
- What buyers are paying for. A buyer is purchasing a WisconsinBOGO membership from us. It is not a donation to the group, and we do not give tax advice.
- The group's own responsibilities. The group and its sellers are not our employees or agents. The group is responsible for following the rules that apply to it, such as those of its school, league or sponsor, any registration its fundraising requires, and any tax on what it receives.
- Name. The group allows us to show its name on its fundraiser pages and links.
Our responsibility
The site is provided as it is. We are not responsible for what happens at a business, for the quality of what it sells, or for a business declining a coupon. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms, and we will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin. Questions go to support@wisconsinbogo.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
